Philosophy Beyond Thought

Posted on Apr 26th, 2007 by One : Being One
From a state of conscious presence, what, when, how, where does one proceed?

If you find yourself and in doing so seem to perceive a lack of motivation toward any particular direction, you have found a step to a beginning of a journey filled with wonder and the unknown.

Imagine, for a moment, what it would feel like to not "want" anything, to perceive in yourself a state of being that can be more accurately termed "potency".  Time, desire, and the urgency that has dominated your entire being up to this moment stops.  What do you now perceive?  At first you might mistakenly feel a sense of emptiness, a feeling of no thing in particular, however the longer you are aware of this state the more you realize a sense of fullness to being.  The need to express in a particular manner is absent.  But, in that need's absence there is a joy in being.  A feeling of completeness that surpasses all desire for more.  It is a state of surprise in many respects, because the fulfillment of all seems at first to be somehow less than what you would imagine.  And yet, it is so much more...so much more that it opens a doorway to a state of being that you could not have perceived had you still been so intent upon achieving or gaining something that seemed so important.  This is the haven that so many philosophies over the centuries have attempted to point us toward.  The difference now in comparison with then is that there is a growing body of consciousness that is capable of manifesting this state of being here and now.   As each link of consciousness syncs up with that greater awareness, the joy and fulfillment of each person's purpose becomes more clear and self evident.  There is room for diversity of life in all its forms and perceptions.  There is no limit to how life can and will manifest.  The infinity of this is incomprehensible to the finite perspectives of the mind, but is quite perceivable from the state of conscious being that can now be manifest.  If you find yourself resonating to the quality of this presence now, follow this with your whole being.  What you become and what manifests through you in this state of presence is the flowering of humanity.  Do what needs be done throughout your day in this state of awareness and partake of the joy of being directly.  It is for this purpose that you are here.

Peace and blessings to all,
One

Consciousness Attraction

Posted on Mar 19th, 2007 by One : Being One
How does one attract the attention of Conciousness to being?  While this at first may seem a question of no sense (it is from a perspective of consciousness relative to that of an object in consciousness), the truth of the statement is more fundamental to our understanding of Reality.

From a causal perspective, the importance of attracting conscious attention to being, it is imperative to being able to manifest in the world of material things.  Whether we understand this relationship with clear understanding or not, the principles that govern action in our material world continue to affect us and our perspectives of reality.  With aware consciousness, the focus and subsequent manifestation on the physical plane, it is possible to truely influence the life force in the direction indicated by that consciousness.

This is a difficult subject to put into "word pointers" to illustrate the practicality of conscious manifestation.  We are not dealing here with merely manifesting material wealth as some may incorrectly assume, but are suggesting that this understanding is the basis of understanding how we create our reality and what is truely possible with regard to learning to work with life rather than against it.

In so many cases, the focus of our intention is directed toward "gaining" something whether in the thought form realm or physical realm.  How do we get more of this or that?  How does the ego support its vision of itself by convincing other egos that what it propounds is of great sagacity.

What I am suggesting here is that we have within us, the fundamental connection with being that is necessary to allow us to live in a conscious state of awareness, a sense of presence.  Living in that state consciously is a goal worthy of all of us to bring a new light into full being.  This state requires nothing to be added to yourself to attain greater awareness.  There are no "seven steps" to ... that must be followed to achieve greater consciousness...you already have that which you need now.  It is a matter of recognizing what it is that you already have consciously to allow one to manifest in concert with life rather than against the flow of life.

Time Is An Illusion

Posted on Mar 16th, 2007 by One : Being One
One of the greatest misconceptions that we live under is that of time.  Time is only valid when we are dealing with objects in consiousness.  Those objects in consciousness that have a birth and a death are subject to what we call time.  Though the object be made of thought itself, organic forms, or what we call inorganic forms (not really as all that we encounter is life itself), all have a birth and death and are subject to time.  What is not subject to time is space itself.  In space, there is no time, space does not move by its very nature.  It is the potential for the expression of life in form.  The diversity of life springs forth from this potential that is alive space.  When we talk about it, it is a pointer only using the limited capacity of the mind to direct who and what we are to an inner knowing.  You cannot understand space with mind, only with the element of space that resides within you.  It is a knowing that goes toward the deeper level of being where one is the expression of life itself.  Using the portals that are available to us, such as silence, feeling, and nature, we can begin to understand the essence of who and what we all are.  Upon that realization, it is possible to recognize your self in all others. All forms that life diversifies itself come from one being.  That being is within each and every one of us, it is our common thread and brings meaning to our existence.  Take joy in that realization and use that knowing to clearly perceive your reality avoiding the trap that many people fall into.  A trap of becoming enamored and identified with the objects in consciousness that are only a part of our being.

As I Sit

Posted on Mar 14th, 2007 by One : Being One
Moving the mind out of the way, it becomes possible to see with clarity.  That is something that we generally do not do, being involved in the objects in consciousness that we readily create daily.  It is an amazing thing, we create our own reality of objects and then invest our sense of self in those objects as though they were who we really are!  Isn't that a cosmic joke of sorts?  Waiting for Godoh, but Godoh never shows up because Godoh is already there, Godoh just doesn't recognize him/her self.  Let the flow of your energy inform you about your reality, the reality of the one.  All beings are one in the same, simply shifting perspective in objects of consciousness creating a diversity of form that is mind boggling.  And yet, all that complexity of form is so simple in its essence, life is very simple, it is this moment now always.  It cannot be made complex regardless of how many forms it chooses to manifest at any given moment.  Breathe deeply and recognize that in that simple act you affirm the simplicity of life and the immortality of existence.  Being is ever present, ever conscious, awaiting just the right moment to create yet another object of beauty.

Shalom,
One

You Are Now

Posted on Mar 12th, 2007 by One : Being One
The energy that you feel coursing through your body is life itself.  It is the essence of who and what you are.  Your self "realization" is becoming aware of that life.  That life is what animates each and every one of our forms.  The forms are impermanent.  They have a birth and death.  Those are terms that describe the "illusion" that we oftentimes call reality.  It is the maya (illusion) of "objects" in consciousness.  The consciousness that is life itself is everpresent.  There is no opposite to life.  There is the constant and everchanging birth and death of forms.  When these pointers to the reality of being are fully realized, one recognises the interconnectedness of all life forms.  It becomes possible to see oneself in others and to dispel the illusion of separateness that hides the essence of who and what we are.  All the words that you read within the context of self realization point to the reality of what you already know.  You are the present moment.  You are the whole of being that needs nothing more to be.  All of the strivings toward "adding" something to become somehow more than what you already are is the playfulness of one's mind in an infinite sea of being, a joy to recognize that you are playing with form and that you cannot hurt or diminish life itself.  And, that you are life itself.

Musing on what is next

Posted on Feb 16th, 2007 by One : Being One
When my mind becomes a burden, I find peace in feeling.  The aliveness that is courses through this vehicle my mind calls a body.  That in itself is somewhat misleading.  Awareness becoming is probably more accurate.  We in western culture have a tendency to separate, catagorize, and file away our day to day existence in a constant stream of experience that we use to determine what to do next.

Perhaps, it is possible, to envision being for its own sake.  Awareness of being aware as a mark of self recognition.  This is centering one's consciousness in an awareness of being rather than anchoring that consciousness to a body or a mind and calling that who we are.

Stepping out of identification with objects in reality and viewing from an unbiased and non-judgemental perspective the beauty of the manifestation of life all around is a goal that we have already attained if you but know how to look.

Fret not whether you get it, know you already have it, nothing need be added to make yourself whole.  That is a pointer to releasing yourself from "dukka" (suffering).

Peace to all,

One

Long Overdue

Posted on Oct 15th, 2006 by One : Being One
I am a point of consciousness on the sea of being.  Awareness, the space all live within, breathe and have our being.
Oftentimes I wonder at whether a difference is made by writing words for all to see and digest.  Then I realize that the words, as I've said before, are merely pointers to the reality of our life.  The one life, one consciousness, both manifest and unmanifest that is the totality of being.  The words seem small and insignificant when compared to that realization.  A realization of the abundance of life that we all have without asking.  The only need is to realize that understanding and place a small amount of consciousness on that perspective as we move through the daily actions we might more accurately call our life situations.  The importance of the interconnectedness of all that we perceive is often overlooked when the mind takes over as if it owns being.  Awareness of that in itself is enough, however momentarily, to break the bonds of our prison and step out of the thousands of years of unconsciousness that humankind has moved through to realize the nature of who and what we are.  If any of you find yourselves in tune with this bit of pointer toward the reality of being, then I invite you to respond similarly with your pointers to the same state as a means of fanning the flame of enlightenment with all those who are in the sphere of your influence.

Life's Purpose

Posted on Sep 13th, 2006 by One : Being One
It is enough to be content, to live your life without an overwhelming noisy mind constantly trying to keep control of all of your attention.
To Learn to sit still, to become aware of the space and silence out of which all things manifest themselves.
Love is what you are, knowing what you are, is peace.  Take comfort in each moment for it as it is, not looking toward the future for some sense of fullfillment.
Life's forms will constantly change, only the space and silence remain constant throughout the myriad forms that life manifests itself through you...knowing yourself will set you free not only to experience the joy of moving with the flow of life effortlessly, but when applying your mental observation to what you see, it will be label free...a point of realization...being totally present now.
There is no other than now in which you live.  No other sense of fulfillment gained by the achievement of any form can be lasting in life.  Forms continually change...life is everpresent...a beauty and a wonder to behold.
Shalom

Did I do today
something that people will say,
made a difference?

A kind word...soft smile,
taking the time to listen.

No greater surprize
gazing into another
eye beholding I!

If you really look
